Thank you to everyone who attended Storybook Breakfast 2021. We enjoyed seeing all your faces and we’re happy we could do this even with a pandemic going on. JFDC 2nd Annual Storybook Breakfast
January 17, 2021Come out for some “Down On the Farm” fun and leave with a hot breakfast, all while supporting Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Warren County.
There are 4 start times for this year’s event. 9:00-9:30, 9:30-10:00, 10:00-10:30, 10:30-11. Tickets will need to be purchased for desired time.

Preschool/Child Care Teacher
Successful candidates should have:
-Degree in a child related field or 2500 hours of experience working with young children
-Current clearances preferred but not required
This is a permanent, year round part time position. Candidates should expect to work 35 hours a week and attend all required trainings. Enrollment costs and hourly salary for the staff to attend are paid for by the employer.
This position is set to start AS SOON AS POSSIBLE for training purposes.
Candidate is responsible for:
*Providing a safe, caring, and nurturing classroom environment.
Planning, posting and implementing age appropriate classroom activities, under the guidance of a group supervisor..
Responsible for cleaning the classroom, classroom equipment, play items and sleeping equipment.
Communicating with parents about the progress, concern, daily activities or accidents/incidents of their child/ren.
Maintains attendance and Child and Adult Care Food Program records.
Uses positive discipline practices in the classroom.
Maintains confidentiality with regards to children and their families, except in the course of inspections or investigations by agents of the Department of Public Welfare.
Attends staff meetings, special events and professional development workshops as required by the JD Early Learning Center, Keystone STARS and/or Department of Public Welfare.
Supports the JD Family Center through participation in special events and meetings as required.
-other duties as assigned by the Director or Head Group Supervisor (ie. reviewing child files, updating emergency contact information, fieldtrip/program planning)
