The Imagination Library program was started in 1995 by Dolly Parton because she wanted every child birth to five years of age to have his or her own library of books. Dolly understood the importance of exposing children to reading at an early age, so she began sending books monthly, free of charge, to kids in her county. Thanks to a number of local citizens committed to providing resources that improve literacy in our community - the Imagination Library was brought to the families of Warren County in July 2018.
We have rooms that accommodate gatherings of various sizes and our staff will work with you to have a successful event. Our handicapped accessible facility is located in downtown Warren with a municipal parking lot available. To learn how we can help you with your next meeting or event, call Melinda Johnson, Executive Director at 723-6350.
